Community Connected

Superhighways has been working in Partnership with Kingston Voluntary Action and the Royal Borough of Kingston to set up a wireless community broadband network on a number of estates in the Kingston borough. 

We have also developed a PC recycling project - PC +, refurbishing computers donated by mainly statutory partners, before giving these to residents who didn't own a computer.  We are now a Microsoft Authorised Refurbisher so can install Windows & Office.

Work is currenlty focussed on the Kingsnympton Park Estate.  Please see the Community Connected website at www.communityconnected.org.uk for further information on the project and its social impact.
