Crowdfunding 101 with Betsy Dillner, The Social Change Agency

Thinking about crowdfunding? This workshop will help to get you started by understanding: the relevance and difference of crowdfunding alongside other fundraising techniques and public engagement techniques, what is appropriate to crowdfund for, the types of crowdfunding available, when to crowfund and when not to, selecting the right platform andt the outline of the journey, from start to finish.

Making video strategic with Gaby Jeffs, Magneto Films

In this session we will show how organisations can get more from their investment in video by using it more strategically, in the ways films are created and shared. We'll show how video can be used to engage audiences and take them on a journey that delivers the call to action. We'll demonstate the value of including video as part of an integrated campaign. 

Impact Management with Ria Bowler, NPC

We will explain what we means by impact managment-while it may be a new term, it's about using data to make decisions so you are probably already doing it more than you realise! Bringing your impact to life online with Madeleine Sugden, freelance consultant

Short attention spans and a constant feed of news and updates means our content is having to work harder than ever. A dry report or long written case study just isn't going to appeal to your supporters or potential funders. This session looks at different ways to illustrate your impact to help bring it to life via a website or social media. We'll look at some examples and you'll leave with ideas to try. 

General data protection regulation with data expert Paul Ticher

Most people have heard of GDPR by now, but there is still a lot of misinformation and outright scaremongering around. This session demystifies the subject, explains what will be different after May 2018 and sets out what you can do to prepare your organisation. It includes an exploration of 'legitimate interests' and the new rules on consent and transparency, as well as how to keep up to date as the details are finalised over the coming months. 

Campaigning 101 with Betsy Dillner, The Social Change Agency

An introduction into the dynamics of running a successful campaign for change for those who are moving in to campaigning. This workshop will discuss how to understand how to use your organisational resources effectively to influence decision making bodies. We will also explore how to centre the stories and experiences of your beneficiaries or members to make an impact in your campaigning.
