Our History

Superhighways has been supporting the Voluntary and Community Sector use ICT to support service delivery since 1998.

In 2007, and after thorough consulation with the sector, we launched a hybrid social enterprise model, introducing charging for services previously full funded and delivered at no cost to organisations.

Matched with a range of funding sources, this has sustained the project to this day, though we are currently undertaking a strategic review and putting together a business plan focussing on the 2013 - 2016 period.
