About Us

Superhighways has been supporting the Voluntary and Community Sector use ICT to support service delivery since 1998.

We work with the South London CVS Partnership to provide a range of ICT support services across the six South London boroughs - Richmond, Kingston, Merton, Sutton, Croydon and Bromley and more recently the other Sub Regional Networks to extend our work across London.

Our team of ICT Support Workers can work with your organisation to meet your ICT needs, supporting you with:

  • Troubleshooting - both hardware and software
  • ICT Best practice - for example advising on anti virus software options and backing up your data
  • ICT Healthchecks and Strategy development - planning to meet your current and future ICT needs
  • Signposting to other support services and useful ICT resources – for example equipment suppliers and local training opportunities
  • ICT training for staff, volunteers and trustees - for example setting up databases and scanning photos to insert into newsletters
  • Development of ICT initiatives targeting clients and users
  • Support with ICT Accessibility issues

We gave procurement advice to 15 organisations between 2009 and 2010, signposting them to best value suppliers and registering them with the Charity Technology Exchange programme to enable them to receive charity discounts on a range of software. For one larger organisation this meant savings of circa £7,000 on their network upgrade.

We also supported a number of organisations with ICT components of funding bids.

"Just to let you know that Awards for All has given us a conditional grant of £9,880 for our ICT Development. We would like to thank Superhighways for your input. "
